December Paper Pumpkin

Greetings, Paper Pumpkin subscribers and others.
Today's cards are made using the extras from the December 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit.

I made a couple of cards using just the extras in the kit and a piece of white cardstock.

This card uses the negatives of the happy birthday and the star confetti strips. I used a corner rounder punch and some of the extra sequins to accent it.

My Hello card is similar to the top one only with a little different arrangement.

The white section of this card is mounted on a piece of Pistachio Pudding cardstock, which is the color of the envelopes that came with the kit.

The Happy Birthday background is one of the stamps that came in the kit.

Here is a detail shot of the Happy Birthday stamp background and how it shows through the pink section.

Out of the December kit, I was able to make 12 cards so far. I hope you enjoy you paper pumpkin as much as I have. Soon January's kit will be here, and I can't wait to see what is in it.

Stampin' Up! has a great deal on a 3 month pre-paid subscription on paper pumpkins. Be sure to check it out! Contact me for more details. I love to hear from you.

More Inspiration

I watched a video on you tube that showed an easy way to use Stampin' Up! Thinlits.
Well, I just had to go into my craft room and try it with my only thinlit, Hexagon Hive.
Here's what I came up with:

I also used SU designer paper, and the stamp set called Honeycomb Hello. As you see, it punches out a bunch of little hexagons, and I thought, "What am I going to do with them?" I can't just throw them away! (How wasteful!)

Here is the next card I came up with using the punched out hexagons. I just put a little snail glue on the backs of them and lined them up. I used a new stamp set called Banner Blessings. I used the same designer paper, but it ended up going a different direction.

I like the way they turned out. I added a couple new cards to the Card Gallery too.
